A World of Piano with Geoffrey Keezer Monday, January 23, 8pm | The Square Room Order Tickets 2010 and 2009 Grammy-nominated
pianist and composer Geoffrey Keezer joined Art Blakey's Jazz
Messengers in 1989 at the age of 18, after completing his first
year at the Berklee College of Music. Since then, he has worked
with virtually all of the living legends of jazz and has
appeared on countless recordings both as a leader and as an
accompanist. This intimate evening of music will feature a cross
section of Geoff’s unique writing for big band, from fresh looks at
standards to striking original compositions.

Jazz is for Lovers with vocalist Melba Joyce Vocalist Melba Joyce’s long and impressive career has spanned more than three decades in the company of and sharing top billing with giants of the music world such as Louis Armstrong, Sarah Vaughan, Louis Jordan, Lionel Hampton, Tony Bennett, Joe Williams, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson and many others. Since 2005, she has been touring as featured vocalist with the Count Basie Orchestra, and brings with her a wealth of classic big band material. Haggard, Earl Scruggs, Tony Rice, Charlie Haden and John
