Hosted by Marga and Jay McBride, this KJO fundraiser directly supports the local talent showcasing Knoxville’s best jazz music for 25 years.

Jazz and Cocktails: a fundraiser to support the education initiatives of the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra

When: Sunday, May 21st, 3-6pm
Where: The Home of Marga and Jay McBride
Refreshments: Light appetizers and wine provided courtesy of the McBride’s
Entertainment: Pianist Eric Reed as well as performances by students from the KJO’s programs
Purpose: To support the education initiatives of the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra including the Knoxville Jazz Youth Orchestra, KJO Middle School Jazz Band, Scholarships for East TN youth to attend Jazz Summer Camp at Brevard University, funding for in-school performances at area elementary, middle and high schools, the Knoxville Jazz Workshop.
